what i know for sure just is the earth is but a speck in our solar system our solar system is a tiny flutter in this galaxy and this galaxy is but a splash of dust in this universe and even in this big ever expanding place God loved me so much that in my mother’s wound HE formed me and in the wee hours of a very cold january morning my mother pushed me into this world and HE animated me with breath.

what i know for sure is that the same power of creation that makes the stars glow and planets spin lives within me pushing me constantly to evolve and stretch and provoke.

what i know for sure is baring witness to another’s life is the most crucial gift you could ever give. to be remembered is proof that you were and will somehow forever be as long as someone tells the story.

what i know for sure is money can be a burden if you don’t remember its a tool.

what i know for sure is love is much bigger than break ups and make ups and friendships gone awry.

what i know for sure is there is there is nothing more beautifully spectacular than hearing your child  laugh that full belly laugh and know he is happy.

what i know for sure is there are more questions circling the brain of a 14 year old than there are answers a 42 year old can provide.

what i know for sure is no matter what remain calm and trust God.

what i know for sure is breakfast eaten in a room full of people who love you taste better than anything a 5 star beard award winning dinning establishment could put in front of you.

what i know for sure is family is what you make of it.

what i know for sure is having a place to call home and someone to love makes you a very rich person.

what i know for sure is jobs don’t check on you when you’re grieving or send you cards for your birthday – people do.

what i know for sure is happiness is an inside job and always a work in progress.

what i know for sure is having the last question you hear at night be ‘what is an oompah loompah’ is the most marvelous exploration of imagination and well worth dreaming about.
