i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
it was our anthem.
a kitchen praise and
worship, my son and i
belted twice a month.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
pots and pans out of the
cabinets fell. set up complete
he’d bang out the rhythm. mom,
that’s me, sang the melody.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
it sounded like bob marley’s
‘three little birds‘ or earth wind
and fire’s shining star. we were
versatile that way.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
i called it our ‘pay these
bills’ song. it found me one
sunday morning as i sat in
church feeling broken and broke.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
$3 checking account.
health insurance disappearing.
no idea how or where we
could live. we sang.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
loud and without apology.
stomping around the kitchen
like rain makers, praying the
drought would pass us by.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
$29,000 in the hole. $3
balance. faith is tested in
times such as these. or
solidified.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
this song flowed down to
me like the manna preached about
on sunday. we sang it every day.
twice on bill paying days.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
momma at the sink elbows
deep in paper. baby boy by
her feet wooden spoons in hands
banging on his pots and pans.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
we sang and we danced, danced,
danced. we sang and we walked,
walked, walked. we sang and we
prayed, prayed, prayed.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
we were a parade. an
undefeated duo. walking
out worry and singing
down our sorrows.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
i’d dug the hole. i knew it.
but decided we would not
be buried in it. so we sang
to get out.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
we sang. we prayed.
i meditated. i wept.
we walked. and i waited.
the answer in reach.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
with mustard seed faith
i made a bold move. matthew
17:20. i said mountain move.
and it was done.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
standing in my kitchen.
visualizing a mustard
grain of faith. bit by bit
the mountain shifted.
i thank you God!
all my needs are met!
i live in abundance!
and you’re not done yet!
faith is power unlimited. it
births hope that breaths into
you peace for trying times. a
blueprint for mountain moving.

Yes, quite a JOURNEY! I love the repetition of the refrain. Great final stanza. Thank you. xoA
Thanks. I was a little worried that the repetition might gets tiresome. But it was kinda the point.
Not tiresome at all, it tells the story (it took a while), it has a message (keep believing), it even brings suspense (as I reader I was hoping all would work out in the end).
You’ve really painted a picture. I was very happy with the happy ending!
